Meet the NOMINEES
Constance Ream Druska
I am a proud freelance Production Supervisor and member of PHBP since 2012, having first qualified as an Office PA in the years after leaving staff at Smuggler. I know what it is like to make big life decisions based on access to this health plan, and how difficult it can be to qualify for consistent coverage at lower income levels.
I am a compassionate problem-solver and not afraid to challenge the way things have always been done when I feel a better solution is possible. I understand the uncertain economics of the advertising and insurance industries and will always advocate for affordable and high quality coverage for as many as possible.
Both my husband and 18 month-old daughter depend on me for insurance. I was particularly frustrated to recently lose our PPO coverage after taking a 3-month maternity leave, which still doesn’t sit right with me.
As a member of Local 111 I have worked behind the scenes to fight for the parity we freelancers deserve. I have volunteered countless hours on the Production Supervisor Committee and the Benefits Committee, where I have learned how difficult it can be to qualify outside of NY/LA, as well as extensively researched how PHBP and other health plans in our industry operate.
This is an important moment in the history of the PHBP and I would be honored to be one of the few freelance voices on the Board of Trustees. If elected, I will be your voice for strengthening PHBP.

It brings me great honor to be considered to represent PWG 111 on the Board for the Producers Health Benefit Plan. I endeavor to use my voice to bring our crafts concerns to the table and find ways to make our healthcare more accessible and affordable while maintaining the coverages we have come to value and appreciate. Thank you again for your consideration.

As an LA production supervisor for over 25 years, I have served in the commercial trenches with many of you. Working closely with every freelance position uniquely qualifies me to serve on the PHBP board. As a cancer survivor, I am grateful to PHBP for the care I was able to receive. My personal experience has given me a front row seat to how critical healthcare is for all. Every worker deserves these benefits and to have strong representation on the PHBP Board to ensure no one’s needs are left behind.
In our new PWG Local 111, I was elected Western Region Delegate and Chairperson to the Board of Trustees. I served as Co-Chair of the Health/Benefits Committee, where we dug into possible health plans with the goal of getting coverage for as many members of our community as possible.
It is a tenet of my being to advocate for everyone. I make myself available and approachable to every crew member on set. My years volunteering in the unionization efforts fostered relationships with workers in other cities, which has broadened my understanding of the challenges of earning coverage outside LA.
I’m asking for your support to serve on the PHBP Board of Trustees. This health plan affects everyone in commercial production, a responsibility not taken lightly. I pledge to advocate for every single one of us, including those who have yet to qualify for PHBP coverage, and to help streamline benefits communication.
Thank you for putting your trust in me.

Hello! I'm a freelance Producer local to both Los Angeles and New York City and am grateful to have had PHBP coverage for some 15+ years starting as a PA.
We have experienced our benefits being diluted over the years as a result of the increasing costs of healthcare and insurance. I realize the difficult task that our PHBP Board has having to navigate maintaining the best coverage at the lowest cost to us and our employers. That said, I would like to see more COMMUNICATION and TRANSPARENCY in this process.
In order to help offset the increasing costs to PHBP for our benefits, we should put a focus on EXPANSION of employee eligibility to grow the number of participating employees and their families so that we have more bargaining power with insurers on pricing and quality of coverage. Also, our colleagues based outside major production centers deserve more EQUITABILITY in regard to eligibility requirements that are more attainable considering the reduced PHBP work opportunities in their markets.
I think most will agree that it is overdue for the MODERNIZATION of our PHBP billing and payment system. Let’s transition from the postal mailing of statements to a more cost efficient and greener e-billing platform.

LYNDA DE ZORZI
My name is Lynda de Zorzi, and I’ve worked in commercial production for over two decades. I began as a truck PA at a time when few women were in the role, learning and growing into my current role today as a Production Supervisor. Over the years, I’ve seen our industry evolve through both its highs and lows, gaining a deep understanding of the broader challenges we all face today — from shifting economic realities to the changing nature of our work. These experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective on the industry as a whole and the people who keep it moving.
I currently serve on the Board of IATSE Production Workers Guild Local 111 as the Production Supervisor Craft Representative — a role I take seriously as our community navigates working under a collective bargaining agreement for the first time. My focus has been on listening to members, bringing their concerns forward, and helping shape solutions that reflect both our realities on set and our shared goals for a fairer, more sustainable industry, for all freelancers working under the contract.
If elected to the PHBP Board, I’ll bring the same diligence, transparency, and attention to detail to this role. Many of you already know me — even before this organizing movement — and have reached out with contract questions or workplace concerns. It’s been my honor to be a resource, a sounding board, and an advocate for our community, and I hope to continue that work by representing the collective voice of everyone who contributes to and relies on PHBP.
